Sea Creatures
Do you know starfish have arms named rays, and they have tiny legs ? On each leg they have a sucker. They use the suckers to eat clams and hold on to rocks. Starfish is actually called Sea Star, because they don't have gills like a fish and they don't have tails like a fish.
I know why nurse sharks are called nurse sharks, because they make a sucking noise when they eat. It's like baby drinking from a bottle. Ms Strong (my teacher) said when a baby is drinking from a bottle, it's called nursing.

Ryan -- We are learning so much already from your blogs. Do you love the ocean? We just went to the ocean ... in Alabama. We saw real jellyfish -- big ones.
Ryan has a great passion about Sea Creatures. He is learning a lot about Sea Creatures in school. One of his favourite book is "Magic School Bus - on the oceanfloor” Hopefully, we can go snorkeling one day to see sea creatures together.
